Petraworld is the world of Peter
Lunsford.
Petra, (n), Latin for "The Rock", and
"Peter". Ergo, "Peter's world".

| This
incredible stone temple is quite real. It's called Khazneh al-Faraoun
(Treasury of the Pharaoh) and can
be visited at the ruins of Petra, in Jordan.
Throughout
the centuries of Parthian dominance, the Nabataean capital, Petra was the chief
crossroads of the caravan trade between Aden, in Yemen, and Syria,
located in the Arabian peninsula (present-day Jordan).
It was also the capital of the Nabataean Empire from the 4th
Century BC to its absorption by Rome in 68 AD. By
common agreement, this is one of the world's most unique treasures,
and one of the most astonishing places I have ever had the privilege
to visit.
